Ana Quinones, Founder and Editor
Ana decided to create this blog because being a mommy of two wonderful kids helped her recognize quickly that staying at home most of the time with her kids was not a good option. Ana realized that she had to go out to keep everyone entertain in a healthy way (including her). This may sound very logical, but Ana was more encouraged to share her thoughts about going out an about with her kids, as she has met many struggling mothers that stay home with the kids and feel isolated. Ana currently lives in San Jose, CA with hubby and two kids. She is a marketing professional and volunteers as translator, activist, and fundraiser.
Emily Kielhorn, Editor-in-Chief and Contributor
Emily has worked as a fundraiser and grant writer in the non-profit sector for the past decade. She and Ana met while working together at a healthcare center in Chicago back in 2005 and became friends shortly after. As a soon-to-be mother, Emily has been doing plenty of research, both in print and online. She sees blogs as a wonderful way to peer into the complicated lives of parents, and to help her prepare to raise a child. Other moms have already been a great resource for ideas and assistance as she enters this new world of motherhood. She is looking forward to sharing her own stories and tips once she has her new baby.
